My baby momma

Our baby is due in two weeks--which means it may come now, or it may come in a month. Who knows.

Every Tuesday since we learned Katherine was pregnant, we've taken a picture of her standing at the top of our stairs. Below is a collection of most of them.

It's (going to be) a boy

I added a new category to this blog today, called "Baby stuff."

That's because Katherine and I are having a baby (pictured to the right) in December. We learned it is going to be a boy. The evidence was quite obvious.

Oddly, learning the gender of the baby feels like it has much more weight attached to it than when we learned Katherine was pregnant. For some reason, it feels more...real.

Perhaps it is a guy thing. When you learn you are going to be a father to a boy, you start thinking to yourself what kind of man you want your son to become. Then, inevitably, you start asking yourself if you are that man yourself.

And you do all this in the first three minutes!

While I don't relish the idea of being anyone's "Role Model," I am really excited and happy, as you can imagine.

And if you (erroneously) thought this blog had a lot of poop references before, wait until December!
